In this "Tri, Tri Again" STEAMvestigation, kids use the engineering design process to ask questions, dream up ideas, draw concepts, design, and test prototype ideas before redesigning a final model. Start by investigating geometric shapes, 2D vs. 3D, and weathering. Use knowledge to design, build, and test a hanging sculpture made with triangles. Grades 3-4 turn the sculpture into a bird feeder that holds a load.
