This Tech-Focused STEAMvestigation starts with a read-aloud called "ROVER, ROVER". Astronauts used a map and some duct tape to keep tires from kicking dust into the rover’s machinery. Students become research and development teams using similar materials to build an rolling rover that travels across a sandy surface.
